Privacy policy
This policy explains how Restockix processes information for Shopify merchants. Restockix works with the merchant's own purchasing data โ it does not collect or store shopper (customer) personal data.
Information we handle
We process Shopify shop and authentication data plus the purchasing records merchants create in the app: supplier contact details, per-variant costs and ordering rules, purchase orders, receiving records, and invoice/payment metadata. Product, inventory, and location data is read from Shopify to build these records. Restockix does not access orders or customer data.
How we use it
We use this information to create and email purchase orders, record receiving and update the merchant's Shopify inventory and unit costs, print receiving documents and barcode labels, show payables, operate billing, and respond to privacy requests. We do not sell this data or use it for unrelated advertising.
Service providers
- Shopify provides shop, product, inventory, billing, and webhook services.
- Railway provides hosting and database infrastructure in the United States.
- Resend delivers purchase order emails to the supplier addresses the merchant enters.
Retention and Shopify privacy requests
Records are retained while the app is installed. Because Restockix stores no shopper data, Shopify customer data requests and customer-redact requests are acknowledged and logged with nothing to disclose or delete. On a Shopify shop-redact request, all remaining shop records โ suppliers, purchase orders, receipts, and settings โ are deleted.
Security and international processing
Restockix authenticates Shopify admin requests and webhooks and limits records by shop. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. No online service can promise absolute security.
Requests and contact
Merchants can contact midorry at info@midorry.com about access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.
